in accordance with the rules, i will assume the roll of thread necromancer to say: how best would a WHFB dwarf be translated to D&D? dwarf ranger using dual weapons, or a barbarian with just an axe? rangers can have chosen foes, which means the task of creating a specialist 'monster hunter' is easier, which fits some of the rules for a slayer. yet all troll slayers are dangerously psychopathic, eschewing armour and ranged weapons to atone for transgressions in combat, and thus, fit barbarian equally well...
