I have a Padawan. It's just that Katie refuses to admit it.

I'm allowed everywhere. Heehee.
And for the last time, Jackie, the Force cannot be your padawan!!!!

.....I take it that means partial custody of the Force isn't an option, then?

No, it isn't. I am my own mystical entity.
... who wants a padawan.

padawans can't have padawans, unless they're Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I, apparently, am now Becky's Padawan. I don't know what she could possibly teach me about anything not referring to a particular letter of the alphabet, but let's see.

Yay! I have a Padawan!
Right, my first teaching is: Never run in the rain with your socks on.
And always eat plenty of chocolate. You can never eat too much.
And p2 + 2pq + q2 = 1.

Already knew the maths bit. PH34R! But yes, I will be certain not to run in rain without shoes on in future.

For today's lesson: Ammonium, nitrate, sodium, potassium and lithium compounds are always soluble in an aqueous solution. Calcium and barium hydroxides, however, are only slightly soluble, while any compound containing lead is not soluble.
Strontium has a scarlet flame colour, while calcium has a brick red flame colour. Barium's flame colour is apple green, and potassium's is lilac. Sodium's is persistent yellow, and magnesium's is white.
And lastly: William Wordsworth is a n00b.

William Wordsworth may be a n00b, but Shakespeare was a bigger n00b. I mean, he died on his birthday - how bad was that?
Besides - don't quote chemistry at me. I gave that up for a reason, y'know.
