This is a weird idea I had at Exactly sometime late o'clock last night...
A lot of people on the board seem to be... Dramatically inclined... So I was thinking that maybe for no reason at all everyone could fill in a little survey about themselves. It would include stuff like little mannerisms, clothing style, makeup usage, hair styles, favorite phrases, even accent, and then we could all draw a name and try to be that person for a day.
It's kind of like a very, very complicated Theater game. We could find out who we're all going to be, take a week to practice, and then pick a day and all try to be someone else.
It would be a bit complicated and VERY difficult, but it seemed a swell idea at the time.
I dunno... I leave it up to you to judge.

Oooh fun!!! OK, my mannerisms... uh...
I say "Good for you," a lot, and fiddle with my own fingers.
I quote LOTR or SW at every available opportunity - as in, someone will say "Can someone fetch me (insert object here)?" and I'd leap up and say, "I WILL TAKE THE RING TO MORDOR!! Although... I do not know the way."
I'm trying to stop biting my nails.
I bounce down the stairs and fiddle with my hair. I'm a very fiddly person.
I read books constantly.
I don't care about clothes, I wear the same jacket and jeans all the time and just alternate T-shirts.
That's all I can think of now...

Good start, though it would probably have to be more detailed than that for a proper challenge... I'll type up a survey tonight asking for some info that might be useful as a sort of ideas, and then of course you're all free to add in whatever info you think might be helpful. We should probably have at least four participants, though... So all who are interested, post here!

I know I said I would post the survey last night, but for some random reason my computer wouldn't let me on.
I'm in Spanish Class right now, and it's at home... I have to go before I get caught. But it's is coming!

Here's my example one... What’s your usual morning schedule?*wake up at 5:45-6:00 *procrastinate on getting out of bed for as long as possible *grab my clothes and go to the bathroom *wash my face, brush teeth and hair, do all that good bathroom stuff, and get dressed. *get all my school stuff together *run around insanely as I search for all the junk I’ve misplaced *go downstairs and make lunch *grab some bread or a pastry for breakfast and wander out to the bus stop at 6:50 What style of clothing do you wear?*I usually wear jeans, my black stretchy pants, or my extremely long fwooshy purple skirt. As it’s very cold, I generally wear my pajama pants beneath my skirt. If I’m wearing my skirt, I wear a plain long-sleeved black shirt with a V-neck. If I’m wearing jeans, I wear one of my t-shirts over a long-sleeved shirt. What about shoes? I wear my black and silver tennis shoes a lot of the time, but when I’m wearing my skirt I’ll wear my black or white slip-ons… sometimes one of each. (But mom gets mad at me…) If I feel like it, I’ll wear a pair of flip-flops with toe-socks. Jewelry- Necklaces: I generally wear chokers. Earrings: I wear earrings frequently; usually cute studs or short dangles. I never wear hoops. Well, except for that one pair... Actually, they're more 'baskets' than hoops... Bracelets: Never. They bug me when I’m writing. Rings: Several! I like the Celtic styles, the “spinny rings,” and simple bands. I generally only wear them on my middle, thumb, and ring fingers. I wear the One Ring, too. Not all the time, though... It turns my finger green. Other: eh, that’s about it. Do you wear makeup?Rarely. For a regular day I might put a bit of glitter on my eyelids and on my neck, and maybe a little mascara. I usually only use cover-up to hide acne, which I’m rarely been visited by. (Someone up there likes me…) If I feel dressy I might put on a little more, but I’m rarely motivated enough. I almost never wear lipstick, but I rely heavily on plain old chap stick, or lip gloss in a pinch. Bad Habits? I’m a pretty bad procrastinator, I’ve a terrible knack for being annoying, and I’m almost ALWAYS late. I talk too much, too… Oh, and I’m really sarcastic, to the point that some people don’t REALIZE I’m being sarcastic, so I get in trouble a lot. Good Habits? (or good things about you) I can generally make people laugh pretty easily. I’m often a source of entertainment in the most boring of times… I can find something to interest me as I’m very. Easily. Amused. What do you do when you’re bored in class? Doodle, draw LOTR comics, create my own fonts, write short and pointless LOTR fics, imagine what would happen if the Fellowship were trying to sit through the same class I was. Things you find yourself saying a lot:*”I meant to do that”- usually following a graceless collision with a desk or a dumb mistake. *”Um… no.” * “FISH!” - Whenever I feel like it. (Other options: Sheep, cow, badger) *”Squee.” –when I’m thrilled, when I’m mildly amused, can be used in just about any tone of voice! *”The light! It BURNS!” or “It burns us, precious!” *random LOTR quotes whenever one seems appropriate. (And sometimes even when they’re not.) *Anything sarcastic. *”Pretty colors!”<br> What do you do/say when you’re excited or something good happens? I say ‘Squee’ or “go me!” a lot, and I frequently do the ‘Happy Dance,’ which involves rocking back and forth while bringing my two closed hands together and shaking them up and down adversely. (When the right is up, the left is down, and the other way around) (the fists are never more than about a centimeter apart, and they don’t go up and down that high). I also do the ‘Happy Frodo Chicken Dance’ as seen in Fellowship of the Ring. And sometimes I’ll squeal “EEE! EEE! EEE! EEE!” over and over again while jumping up and down in circles. It’s fun. What do you do once you get home from school (or home after… whatever?)I usually grab something to munch on, and then go online for a bit before mom needs to use the phone. Then I’ll generally go up and do my chores (feeding the freaking 26 guinea pigs, dogs, etc…) then I’ll do my homework, eat, procrastinate on finishing my homework, go online again until I’m forced off at 9:00 (unless Lost or Stargate or something is on, then I’ll watch that), then take a shower, then crawl into bed where I finish any homework that I suddenly realize I’ve forgotten or write until I fall asleep. What kind of music do you normally listen to? Movie soundtracks. Not the albums, just the musical scores. I have all the LOTR ones, Matrix, Gladiator, Stargate, Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter, Star Wars, the Three Musketeers, etc. I also listen to some classical. My all time favorite song is Hobbits, movement 5 of Symphony #1 by Johan de Mej, inspired by the Lord of the Rings. If you have trouble describing your clothes or jewelry or whatever, maybe we can make a thread in the Pictures area specially for In Character and then people can see exactly what you're talking about... Just an idea....

What’s your usual morning schedule?
6:45 - Dad tells me to get up. Roll over and grumble. 6:50 - Hear sister getting out of bed, so sprint to bathroom to get there before her. 6:52 - Get dressed in school stuff (see below) 7:00 - Eat sandwiches for breakfast, reading whatever book I'm entranced with at the time. 7:10 - Go brush hair. Takes considerable time, as there is a lot of it, and have to be careful that it doesn't go static. 7:15 - Try and find shoes. Length of time this takes varies. 7:20 - Sit on sofa and stare into space while sister tries to find whatever she's lost. 7:35 - Dad drives me to bus stop. Sit in nice warm car talking about the advantages of wind and nuclear power stations, or dad points out patients he knows walking past and tells me about their personal lives. 7:41 - Get kicked out of car because Dad needs to drive sister to her bus stop. 7:45 - Bus arrives. Sit on own at front. Ignore loud kids at back and read. 8:20 - Arrive at school. Go to study and read. 8:40 - Registration begins officially. 8:50 - Registring teacher actually turns up. 8:55 - Lessons start.
There we go... up to nine am is morning, right? And on weekends, I just sleep till nine.
What style of clothing do you wear?
I always wear the same jeans and white cardigan/jacket/fleece (never quite figured out what it was), and alternate T-shirts. They're normally pink or blue, or have something cute on the front.
For school, we have to wear a smart jacket and trousers, and a plain top. Again, just alternate weekend tops.
What about shoes?
Trainers. All the time. Apart from school... then I wear black leather shoes that look like they belong in Malory towers. But normally I just go around in bare feet.
Jewelry- Necklaces: The Evenstar, or One ring replica, or something pretty that matches my top for that day.
Earrings: Don't have my ears pierced. I did once, but that was a bad experience, involving hockey, antiseptic wipes that didn't do their job, and a 4-hour trip to casualty.
Bracelets: Don't wear them, they annoy me.
Rings: Only one fake gold one round my neck on a chain.
Other: I wear the same watch all the time, with a black leather strap, and have done for the past four years. I can't go out without my watch.
Do you wear makeup?
HA! No.
Bad Habits?
I pull my own eyelashes and eyebrows out, and bite my nails, and talk way too much about nothing particularly interesting. I also waste too much time on the internet.
Good Habits? (or good things about you)
Ummm.... I give great hugs, apparently...
What do you do when you’re bored in class?
Sleep. Or plan stories in my LOTR notebook. Currently I'm drawing a map of Raniria in preparation for writing about a big fire. Oh, that reminds me - when I'm bored in science practical lessons, I burn things.
Things you find yourself saying a lot:
Good for you. (I say that ALL THE TIME, I've just noticed)
Anything LOTR related.
Um, OK... right... (but that's just because of Frankie)
What do you do/say when you’re excited or something good happens?
I normally jiggle up and down and clap, and randomly giggle, and get very hyper, and hyperventilate, and keep a countdown to that event which really bugs my friends. And I squeal at previously thought impossible levels.
What do you do once you get home from school (or home after… whatever?)
Go on the internet until guilt kicks in. I then sit and do my homework on the living room sofa, watching a film - current favourite is Spirited Away. At 6, my sister comes home, and I have to move up the sofa so she can sit down. We stop the film and watch the Simpsons. At 7:30, yummy yummy dinner, and then back to film and homework. When homework's finished, I move my folder off the sofa and replace it with my laptop, and write stories for a while, or go on the internet again. Normally go to bed around 9:30, and write my diary, and read until I can't stay awake any more, regardless of how late it is. Then nice sleep, and dreamy dreams.
What kind of music do you normally listen to?
Film soundtracks. LOTR, POTC, Aladdin.
Aaaand that's all folks!

What’s your usual morning schedule?
Wake up at 6:30. Hit snooze and go back to sleep. Wake up at 6:40. Go back to sleep. Wake up at 6:50. Get up. Get dressed. Go and eat breakfast. Brush teeth, wash face, etc. Sort out stuff. Go to school.
What style of clothing do you wear?
Usually my black trousers with a pink top, or a black and pink top, although if it's the weekend and I'm staying at home, just my comfy tracksuit with a T-shirt. At the weekends, I sometimes wear my jeans although they're kinda small at the moment due to holiday weight.
What about shoes?
If it's a school day, then usually my black suede boots, or if my feet are feeling good, then my pink boots.
Jewelry- Necklaces: Depends on what I'm wearing, but usually either my pale pink pearls, or the necklace Alex gave me with my name written on a grain of rice.
Earrings: Brightly coloured and often pink. I love big earrings, dangly ones, not hoops. My favourite ones are really random.
Bracelets: Rarely wear bracelets, but when I do it's my new one from ebay with the pink and black flip flops.
Rings: Hardly ever wear rings.
Other: Glasses.
Do you wear makeup?
Not everyday, but sometimes. Usually just mascara, light eyeshadow and lipbalm, unless I'm having a REALLY bad skin day, in which case I wear a bit of foundation.
Bad Habits?
Main one would be my self-deprecation. Other than that, I'm loud, because everything in my house is loud because my mother has hearing difficulties, so I have to speak loudly to her because she doesn't hear me if I speak at a normal volume, and I don't realise that I'm being loud because for me it's normal volume, and it's bloody annoying, and I think I've inherited poor hearing too, which doesn't help, especially when people have a go at me for being loud even though I don't realise I'm doing it.
Good Habits? (or good things about you)
Ha. See above and aforementioned self-deprecating nature.
What do you do when you’re bored in class?
If I'm wearing nail varnish, then I'll pick it off, or if not, then I doodle.
Things you find yourself saying a lot:
Gack! Freijip?! Delmo! "I know what happens..." "I've read the Silmarillion..." "Bleurgh, I'm so fat" or something along those lines.
What do you do/say when you’re excited or something good happens?
YAAAAY!!! *squeak* *pinches self* *hugs someone*
What do you do once you get home from school (or home after… whatever?)
Go straight upstairs, dump my stuff on my bed, turn on my laptop, sort out stuff while laptop's loading up, waste time on net for a bit. Turn tv on around 6 to watch Friends, have dinner. Go back upstairs, procrastinate a bit more, see if Little Britain's on later, do the occasional bit of homework, watch TV if there's anything good on, read, go to sleep.
What kind of music do you normally listen to?
Rock of some description, whether it's punk, alternative, soft rock, and ballads.

YAY! Frankie's playing, too!
Okay, as for the other questions, that for some obscure reason didn't get posted...
Do you wear Nail Polish? (if yes, what color(s)?)
What would you do if someone bumped into you and knocked you over?
Hypothetical situation: You somehow managed, through your elven grace, to flip over a desk, and everyone is laughing as you crawl out from under it. How do you react?
What if someone makes you really mad?
Do you ever swear?
How do you wear your hair?

Do you wear Nail Polish? (if yes, what color(s)?) I like to... I usually wear this one color that changes from green to purple to gold (called Khaki Zing). Sometimes I wear plain blue or green, and sometimes just the sparkles!!!
What would you do if someone bumped into you and knocked you over? Stand up and start apologizing profusely... Whether it was my fault or not. I probably had something to do with that, and I apologize for everything.
Hypothetical situation: You somehow managed, through your elven grace, to flip over a desk, and everyone is laughing as you crawl out from under it. How do you react? *snerk* Wouldn't be the first time. Stand up and take a bow, rub the sore spots and pretend it didn't hurt. All the time laughing my head off.
What if someone makes you really mad? I don't actually get mad easily. I've never been REALLY mad, which is exactly why people are afraid of me... I don't get it. They think I'm going to blow from suppressing it all. If I ever do get mad, I glare and leave so I can cool off. I know that anything I do will probably make it worse if I don't think about it... (that's really hard sometimes!)
Do you ever swear? I don't try to... If I'm caught by surprise I might go "SHHH-" but I don't usually finish it. I say 'b*gger' and 'bl**dy,' but only because in America I needn't worry about offending anyone. I try not to use them in places where people consider them dirty words. Oddly, I only use D*mn in my stories.
How do you wear your hair? Back in the lovely days when it was long *sniff* I generally wore it half-back, all elf-style, or down... I didn't toy with it much, and now I regret it. *cries* Now, with my chin-length hair, I wear it down or pull it into a nub at the top of my neck... Which inevitably becomes half-back, because the stuff at the back is too short. And sometimes locks in front fall out too... Even though it's the longest part of my hair, the back of my head is very far away for it....

Do you wear Nail Polish? (if yes, what color(s)?)
Again, no. Actually, I wear stop n' grow in an attempt to stop me biting them... it tastes foul, and does actually burn with the fires of a thousand evils...
What would you do if someone bumped into you and knocked you over?
"OW! No, I'm fine, ow, hahahaha." (wait until they're out of earshot) "Muttergrumblestupidpeopledidn'tlookwherethey'regoingmuttergrumbleallwillpayrevengesoonnomercyforanyone..."
Hypothetical situation: You somehow managed, through your elven grace, to flip over a desk, and everyone is laughing as you crawl out from under it. How do you react?
"Oof... didn't mean to do that... Ow... hahaha, no, I'm fine..." (wait till everyone stops looking) "Muttergrumblestupiddeskwho'dleaveadesktheremuttergrumbleallwillpayrevengesoonnomercyforanyone..."
Or bow, depends how good a mood I'm in.
What if someone makes you really mad?
Do you really need to ask?
"Muttergrumblestupidpersonwhodotheythinktheyarestupidcakesniffermuttergrumbleallwillpayrevengesoonnomercyforanyone..."
Do you ever swear?
Mainly when I'm playing Sonic, or auditioning for musicals.
How do you wear your hair?
Down, usually. It's insanely long. Or half back if I want it look nice. Or in a ponytail if it's bugging me. Or in two plaits if I'm wearing a hat.

Do you wear Nail Polish? (if yes, what color(s)?)
Yes, usually fuschia, red, pale pinky silver, or french manicure style. At the moment I've got the pale pinky silver with designs of red flowers on them.
What would you do if someone bumped into you and knocked you over?
Say "OW!" and then expect them to apologise. If they don't, give a fairly obvious "tuh" sound and start muttering something along the lines of "stupid fool".
Hypothetical situation: You somehow managed, through your elven grace, to flip over a desk, and everyone is laughing as you crawl out from under it. How do you react?
I spend a few seconds figuring out how in the heck I managed to do it as I'm still confused about the mechanics of such a stunt, while getting up and jokingly saying "I meant to do that" with shifty eyes, and laughing at myself in a good-humoured manner.
What if someone makes you really mad?
Depends who they are. I yell at and hit my brother when he makes me mad, or I bite my tongue and dig my nails into my hands if it's someone like my grandmother.
Do you ever swear?
Yeah, but not gratuitously.
How do you wear your hair?
Usually in a ponytail, or messy bun, but sometimes (when my hair's nice and shiny), I wear it down and straightened, or sometimes wear it half up.
