Ooh! I'm not British!
Though I wish I were... they talk pretty...
*Glares enviously at people in England*

I'm not sure I would want to live in Britain....it rains a lot if I'm not mistaken. At least Australia is sunny, as long as you don't mind spiders and snakes and other potentially harmful creatures *shudders*

Britain's alright. For example:
1. We don't have any poisonous animals.
2. Its big enough, so that if you never want to see someone, you can probably avoid them...
3. But small enough, so if you have a friend on the other side of the country, it doesn't take you 14 hours by plane just to get to them.
4. It doesn't always rain, despite popular belief. Just in the winter months really. It can get really quite hot in the summer!
5. All the best authors (Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Dixkens, CHarlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, C.S Lewis etc etc...) come from Britain.
6. Little Britain is cool!
7. Tea and Sunday Lunch! (need i say more?)
8. Prince William... *drool*

You forgot the Beatles and Queen, two of the greatest rock bands ever seen on the face of this planet

YAY! QUEEN! Okay....sorry for that. Well, maybe Britain isn't that bad, I do plan to go there one day when I'm not completely poor. PLEASE DON'T ATTACK ME WHEN I SAY THIS! I hate the Beatles with an undying passion. *covers face waiting for random attacks* I appreciate the songs that they wrote because they have wonderful lyrics, but I hate their singing and Paul McCartney just irks me. I think my Beatlephobia is psycological damage from being woke up at three in the morning to Yellow Submarine blaring from the stereo system that sits right underneath my bedroom.

S'okay. I used to hate Queen. My earliest memories of Queen was when I was five, and watching the four-headed operatic bit from Bohemian Rhapsody and thinking how utterly frightening it was.
Paul's a bit annoying yes. I'm not that much of a Beatles fan, but I love a bunch of their songs.

If I had to marry either prince, it would be Prince Harry...

It never rains, but it drizzles.
Yeah, in England we have a LOT of names for raining. Raining, drizzling, spitting...

I live in Ohio. It doesn't rain excessively but it can get cold. Prolly not as bad as Oregon, but still pretty damn cold.

It never rains, but it drizzles. Yeah, in England we have a LOT of names for raining. Raining, drizzling, spitting... LOL! So very very true. I wish we got some real rainstorms here... We rarely do. Give me thunder and lighting and rain that bounces off the ground! I love to run out and dance in it, but I rarely get too.

I remember one time last May we had an electrical thunderstorm, with GREEN lightning! It was during lunch at the cafeteria, so the teachers told us dormers that it was okay to turn off anything electronic in our rooms.
It was just an excuse for all of us to run outside and play in the rain. Oh funness! Give me lightning!

When I went to Florida on a school trip, we arrived, looking forward to two weeks of bright sunshine...
And it was raining. I mean a SERIOUS thunder and lightningfest.

I've seen enough rain to last me ages. It shifts from being snow into sleety-slush and then just rain. Lots o' puddles!
