Hooray!
I think the best hero of all time is...
ARAGORN!!!!

Aaah yes, Aragorn. Rugged, tough, manly yet graceful and oh not so bad on the eyes.
*sigh* But one has to wonder if Viggo will be typecasted for the rest of his career....there was Hidalgo (sucky movie though it made a mint) and now there'll be some Spanish flick set in....WAIT FOR IT....
The Crusades. Hoo-ruddy-ray.

And sticky. Don't forget sticky.
And The Meerkat We Do Not Speak Of Bloom's in a film about the crusades too... 'Kingdom of Heaven'. He's supposed to be the smart one in the film.
No wonder we lost.

Get this: he's a blacksmith before he's recruited to ride off to Jerusalem.
Good grief.

Good grief indeed. And not in the good way.
So... bad grief.

I voted Faramir-- he was one of the only one's who actually resisted the temptation of the ring....plus he's hot. and David is my husband. Okay, I won't get into that right now. If you want to know, check out my profile on ff.net ~Ebon Oleander Wenham....

Yes Faramir's one of me favourite ones too. I love the Faramir-Eowyn scenes in ROTK EE, however brief they are.

No Face!!!!! He is so much cooler than all of those characters, I mean: 1)Harry Potter - is a weird midget who does nothing but faint a lot and get overly close to his male friends, along with looking scared/stunned/shocked/confused (all looks remarkably similar ) plus he takes all his hroic advice from an old guy with a long white beard and a pointy hat 2)Luke Skywalker - looks like he has a mop on his head, and takes advice from something that looks like a lizard you left in the bath too long 3)Frodo Baggins - see Harry Potter 4)Will Turner - It's The Meerkat We Do Not Speak Of. Need I say more? 5)Arthur Dent - he'd be space debris right now if it weren't for Ford Prefect.... 6)Neo - Why? Why would you even suggest Neo? I mean, please. Uh, character development? Where are you? Acting skills? Anything other than special effects? Hello? Hello? *Tumbleweed* 7)The Baudelaires - cool, I suppose, but not heroes particularly. For these reasons I choose to heart No Face more than any of the above ;D

Hmmm... didn't see No Face quite in the hero light... don't forget he also trashes half the bathhouse, eats two people and a frog, and is generally not very nice at first...

Hehehehe @ Becky....great points you made. Love the ones about Harry/Frodo, Neo and Will Turner the best. Plus, Jack Sparrow owned that movie anyway.

Talking of Neo... There's a new film coming out with Keanu Reeves, where he's this guy who is special because he can see into another wold and it's up to him to save the world before it is destroyed...
Sound a little familiar?

Well, according to 'Empire' and 'Total Film' it's not that bad... and I've watched the trailer many times now, and I wanna see it.
