If that's true, I will laugh insanely while banging my head against the wall.
I think it all depends on just how you make Horcruxes... on whether it would be possible to create one by accident.
MY WISH LIST OF THINGS I WANT TO KNOW!
1. What Dudley was forced to remember when the Dementor came near
2. Why Lily was offered the chance to step aside (though I have my theories...)
3. Where Hagrid and Harry were all day after Voldemort was destroyed. It doesn't take 24 hours to fly from Godric's Hollow to Surrey!
4. And, duh, who R.A.B. is.

I wanna know also why Wormtail was sent to Snape. I just don't get it. If 'ole Voldy trusted Snape, why send 'lil Pete to spy on him. Or, potentially spy on him.

I think he sent Peter to Snape to keep an eye on Peter.

Possibly, but that means Voldemort trusted Snape completely, which leaves very little room to hope that Snape is not all bad.
Re: Lightening Struck Tower Katie, just re-read it, and the Tower is a Tarot card that generally depicts a Tower being destroyed by lightening on it. It is a omen of disaster. Trelawney was ranting about it in the chapter before.

There's a theory that a new Horcrux is introduced in every book. In 1, the bit of soul still in Voldemort; 2, the diary; 3, we don't know; 4, Nagini; 5, the locket in Grimmauld Place; and 6, Marvolo's ring. So there might be one in book 3 that we don't know about...
