Michael Palin now travels around the world doing programmes for the BBC, such as 'Around the World in Eighty Days' or 'Full Circle', and writes books about them. He very nearly made it around the world in 80 days, like Phineas Fogg, but got delayed on the London Underground on the last day by a suspicious package left on the platform.
His middle name is Edward.
He studied History at Oxford, where most of the other Pythons also attended.
And, another random thing, I dressed up as him for Book Week at school when I was 10, and won.

Thea likes Goblins too....*heh heh*
Very good everyone!!!! I am so happy that you are all so enthusiastic. Now, your next piece of homework is to watch one episode of The Flying Circus and summarize and tell your favorite parts. There's no real time limit on this, but try and get it done in the next four days.

I have no episodes of Flying Circus, because I do not have digital, because of stupid oak trees in front of my house. Erm.... I can summarize the Upper-Class Twit of the Year race?

I have seen one episode twice, and that's it. I have no access to episodes, I was just watching the television at the right time. 'twas the one where Michael Palin does his cycling tour of Cornwall/Kent/Devon/some other place and ends up in Russia with a man who thinks he is Clodah Rogers. Gah!
