Nuada is considered the first king of Eyru. He reigned prior to the Time of Chaos which found the humans embroiled in great wars with each other and the giant-kin. Nuada was a skilled king and commanded a vast repertoire of skills that challenged even that of the Dagda. He was forced to step down from the throne when he lost his hand in battle and was deemed unfit to rule. However, one of the Dagda’s triplet daughters granted him a gift of a silver hand which restored his body. Later, Miach, a famed healer, restored his original hand and Nuada regained his throne.
That's what I found.

Ooh! I found that one too while looking for Nuada!
Miach was a son of Dian Cécht the head physician of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Miach was a proponent of the method of natural healing of a person's own body rather than using prosthetics and artificial devices. He managed to completely heal King Nuada's arm making the king whole. His father had fitted King Nuada with an arm of silver, and was jealous that his son was a better physician than he was.
Dian Cécht was so jealous of Miach that he killed him and all the healing herbs grew from his grave which his sister Airmid then categorized and named according to their healing properties.
