That's...... really weird....
I LOFFSES IT. But sadly it brings to mind Samson & Delilah type relationships between Dumbledore and McGonagall.

Sampson and Delilah.... sorry, Biblical. She cut off all his hair because it was the source of his powers. The original bitch-slut.

She BETRAAAAYED him. And CUT HIS HAIR. Both are unforgivable.

Indeed. Hair is meant to be long. NONE of my characters have long hair. Except Dan. And Mattie. And Andrew. And Aln...That's it

My characters have various length hair. Emily has very long hair, Anna has hair just above the shoulders, and Claire has quite long hair, so I can describe it billowing in the wind.
Last night, I tried to think what character is most like me. Then I realized ALL of them had something of me in them.

Oh yeah. My characters are MINE because they have bits of ME in. Like Gwen is the kind of person I'd LOVE to be, and Mattie is more like the person I actually AM, and Gwion is quiet and listens well, and Ada is throughly miserible. Etc

The one least like me is Sean, I think, but I can still completely empathize with him...

'tis weird, I can even connect with bits of Archos, the guy who kills Neraida's parents/kills Nick/tried to send Gwen to hell as the Teind/seduces Mattie and probably lots of other ghastly things too

Not sure.....but I do. Mainly his pain.

Why's he in pain?

He was TOTALLY betrayed by his best friend, then left to brood over that and his subsequent behaviour for thousands of years.
