I'm not too sure how successful this game will be, but I thought I'd try it. Lots of people know the game 'The Cookie jar' - it's the sort of thing you play in groups on coaches and stuff to pass the time. In case you don't know, here's a demonstration.
Everyone on bus: WHO STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR?
Random person (bitch): I think - KATIE stole the cookie from the cookie jar!
EVERYONE: KATIE STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR!
Me: Who, me?
Everyone: YES, YOU!
Me: It couldn't be!
Everyone: THEN WHO STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR?
Me: ... Frankie!
Everyone: FRANKIE STOLE THE COOKIE FROM THE COOKIE JAR!
Frankie: Who, me?
Everyone: YES, YOU!
Frankie: It couldn't be!
EVERYONE: THEN WHO-
*kicks everyone out* That's enough of that... It looks really weird, but when everyone's hyper and it's in a funky rhythm, it passes the time.
Basically, I thought we could something like this for LOTR characters, except with a Ring from the Ring of Power Jar. And we don't have to keep saying the same thing, we can embroider it, making it weirder - like Legolas and Gimli keep accusing each other, you know the sort of things... ok, I can't describe it. But can we try?

Well, basically, we play the game from the POV of the LOTR characters... everyone says one thing, but alters it slightly for that particular character...

OK, here's an example to get it started:
EVERYONE: Who stole the Ring from the Ring of Power jar?
MERRY: I think - PIPPIN stole the Ring from the Ring of Power jar!
PIPPIN: Who, me?
EVERYONE: Yes, you!
PIPPIN: You git, Merry!
MERRY: You stole my mushrooms, I wouldn't put it past you.
PIPPIN: Mushrooms are different! Anyway, I think FRODO stole the Ring from the Ring of Power jar!
FRODO: You have one problem, and no-one lets you forget it...
Yeah, it's not that great.

Okay, I'll give it a try...chances are, it'll suck. Craig (my muse, and yes, it's Mr. Parker) is not sure if he wants to be kind to me today.
EVERYONE: (Drunkenly) WHO STOLE THE RING FROM THE RING OF POWER JAR?
Legolas: (hiccup) Gimli stole the Ring from the Ring of Power Jar!
Gimli: (Slurring) Well at least I didn't steal women's underwear--
Legolas: You're ruining the spirit of the game...
Gimli: Well we all can't be perfect like you---Boromir stole the Ring from the Ring of Power Jar!
Boromir: (In ghost form) But I'm dead--
Legolas and Gimli: SO...
Boromir: (Slowly) SO...it couldn't be...
L & G: Then who!?
Boromir: (Points) It's Gollum, that sneaky bastard!
Gollum: (Defensive) But no, preciouses, not me! 'Twas the nasty hobbitses....
L & G & B: Oh, right....
Gollum: Sam stole the Ring from the Ring of Power jar!
Sam: (Caressing Ring) Damn...
*Elmo runs in quickly and takes Ring and runs off*
Elmo: Elmo's got his goldfish, the Ring of Power too....!
*Everyone looks after Elmo*
Gimli: Well that certainly takes the mystery out of the game!

Alright, not the best, but I felt compelled to try....I dedicate this to my three year old sister Jenna who is in love with Elmo...which explains the random appearance...

Sauron: Well, duh.
*lengthly pause*
Melkor: Sauron, you're such a slow learner.
Sauron: What?!
Melkor: You're supposed to DENY it.
Sauron: Oh, come on! In this huge multi-million trilogy, all I do is try to get this measly ring! And now Saruman here states the obvious, which we ALL know is true, and I'm supposed to deny it? How stupid is that?
Saruman: Sauron, you're ruining the game for all of us.
Sauron: It's a stupid game! I stole the Ring from the Ring of Power jar!!!
Grima: Who, you?
Sauron: Yes, me! We've been over this.
Grima: Couldn't be!
Sauron:... Why not?
Grima: You're a big glowing eye. You don't have any hands.
Sauron: ... Curses.
((Sorry... It's kinda stupid. It amuses me, though.))
