OK, this is a REALLY WEIRD idea... someone stop me before it gets out of control.
I got the idea from some of the little kids who go to my drama club. Every weekend, one of the girls in the class takes home the class toy sheep, Minty, and they take a photo at whatever activity they get up to that weekend - most of them bring them to our drama club, and we stage some dramatic montage with him in the centre. And they collect all the photos, and are putting them into a book called 'Minty's Adventures'.
I was thinking we could do the same thing! Not with the same toy, of course, because posting would cost loads - but some toy that you can buy everywhere, and is the same everywhere. And all I could think of right now was Darth Tater, which is this Mr Potato Head with Darth Vader accessories...
I thought we could all get one - or some cheaper toy that's cuter, Darth Tater's just an example - and take photos of him with us whenever we go anywhere interesting, and maybe even lend them to friends who are going exciting places. And then we could put them all together, showing his journey...
It's weird, I know. But it can be any toy, and I think it could be fun...

That sounds cool...
There's a similar thing in the Realm of Nienna at Council of Elrond.
Except it's Elrond's adventures, and instead of all buying the same toy the first person sends it in the mail to the second person, who keeps it a few weeks, takes some pictures, writes out a diary for it and sends it to the next person, then post the diary entry online.
It's actually really funny.
So.... You're idea's not stupid at all, Katie. ;D

Oooh I've read about Elrond's Adventure! Tis a good idea Katie! Except, I am not educated in the world of Star Wars...but I'm sure I could cope...

It doesn't have to be about Star Wars...
We could send round a toy, but I just thought we could save money and just all buy the same one.
Like... some blue fluffy toy. Like a Wob-Wob.
*goes to scour Amazon for blue toy*

Out of interest, how much does the posting cost? Roughly?

My brain itches. Just thought you'd like to know.
You know, they should sell wob-wobs in stores. I'd buy one.

That's what I should have designed for my Graphics project! A Wob-wob! (Well...wob-wob packaging...it had to be made of card etc...) Forget my LotR ticket holder! Wob-Wobs allaway...

That is an awesome idea, Katie. You know...I have a Gollum action figure. I also have a Nightcrawler action figure, too. And somewhere, in the depths of my closet, I have a Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass Nsync doll....and I have no idea why I just told you guys that.

So are we buying Darth Tater, or are we waiting for a Wob-Wob toy to come out on the market?

OH! OH! OH!
In art, I am making a paper mache Wob-Wob. He is over halfway finished. I have to finish his feet and then paint him.

I am almost completed with my Wob-Wob, whom I've named Bob-Bob (just for you Katie, as they are yours). He's a little fat, though. I'll post him when I'm done.
