Woooo Spirited Away!! It's wonderfullous! And watch Kiki's Delivery Service! It's also a nice film! No Face is cute! But the noise he makes now reminds me of Anne from Little Britain... Emma and I were going to make bath house costumes...for the hell of it...

Oh wow... it is so similar...
Have you watched it in both Japanese and English? It's actually more dramatic in Japanese, they have different dialogue. The English one is disneyfied.

The Cat Returns. There might be a trailer for it on your Spirited Away DVD...well, it's on Emma's. A girl travels to the Land of the Cats!

... right.
In drama club on Saturday, they'd made a pond on the stage for 'The Tempest', and I went and sat in it and shouted "I am a customer! I want a bath!"

Hehehehe. Random madness is good.
I actually saw Spirited Away before it was released over here. The Japanese one was better, dialogue-wise. Seeing as Disney producec/presented it over here, then yeah it got PG-fied.
Oh, does anyone remember Haku's name from the original?
My fave character is Yubaba. Gotsa love that sarky old witch ^_^

She is definitely scarier in the Japanese version.
For example, near the end, Haku and her make the deal that if Haku gets back her baby, she'll let Chihiro and her parents go home.
In the English version, she's relatively agreeable, and just says, "Very well, but I get to give her one last test, and if she fails, she's mine."
But in the Japanese version, she says, "And what about you? Suppose after she leaves I have you ripped to pieces?"
... not quite as nice and old-granny like. The English version, by cutting out some of the violence in the dialogue to get it down to a PG, completely compromises Haku's sacrifice in trying to save Chihiro.
BOOOOOOOO!!!

Oh yeah I remember that! Yeah, she's loads scarier in the Japanese one. And they make No-Face more scary too.

"AAH IT'S BACK!!! AND IT'S... giving her bath tokens. Uh, that's nice."
"Ooooh, lots of bath tokens. But it's still creeepyyyy..."
"Huh??? What's it doing there?? And why's it giving gold? This is really wei- OMG IT ATE THE FROG!!!!!!!! THE BLACK THING JUST ATE THE FROG!!!!!"
"It wants a bath... nice."
"Ooooh, not good for cholesterol, mate. And where did the hair come from??"
"Hmm, put on a bit of weight... Oooh, gold now. Raised the stakes slightly. Awww, it's sad... OMG IT JUST ATE SOMEONE!!!!!!!! TWO PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!"
"EWWWWW IT'S MASSIVE AND FAAAT!!!! BITE IT, LITTLE HAMSTER!!! BITE IT!!!!!!"
"Hmmm, bulimia is a terrible thing..."
"Wow, you really end up sitting next to the weirdest people on trains, don't you?"
"It can sew! It can seeeew! I wanna hug it..."
