Ha! I scorn sci-fi, in favour of my Really Well Planned Story.....well, Planned Stroy really. I know what I'm like when trying to write things, so if I actually plan this it might turn out like it's meant to.

I've started NaNoWriMo practically without a plot... and it's meandering along in a slightly drunken way, which, I suppose, is appropriate, considering the protagonists are students...

I realised half-way down the first page that it's perilously close to being a self-insert....the first thing my main characters does is day dream Firefly.

Hey, one of my main characters is a Classicist and another two are LARPers. And the villain is basically a girl who's trying to become an Evil Genius. Mine is basically a self-insert, but it's easy and fun to write, so who cares?

Just write it on paper instead!

But then I have to type it up again, and that'll take even LONGER! Besides, I've kinda lost the threads now, so if I try to write about ooo...10,000 at least words in a few days, I need to go over my plans. And the plans are in my schoolbag, which is far away..
But I take your point, and will now stop moaning.
