Alex: Harhar. She likes me more.
James: Well, don't blame the girl, she hasn't seen me yet. *wink*
Carys, Anna, Sarah, Meg: *appalled*
Anna: (to Meg) You're RELATED to that.
Meg: You fancied that!
Anna: Well... I was young and foolish.
Meg: I was even younger and had no choice in the matter! Anyway, erm, about me.... I'm Meg Nesson, I'm James's twin sister (not by choice) but when our father had us he could only look after one of us, so he left me with a random family... their house was burnt down in a rebel raid and I was left on my own, so I tried to find out who my original father was. After a long time, James actually found me - he took me to meet our father, and he let me stay with them. When the Fab Gang, as James calls them, left, I went with them though, because I preferred them. David was a great guy.
Jack: Nudge nudge, wink wink.
Carys: *smacks head*

*right hand twitches, itching to slap James* Compared with this guy Alex, I LOFF you.
Thanks Meg! I think I may cling to your character as a vague rock of sanity in this crazy interview.
Aaaand...Chris? Describe yourself please.

Alex: This is a strange and bizarre scenario...
James: Hey, I'm not fussed. I won over at least half the girls in this room.
Thomas: There are five... you won over two and a half of them?
Meg: Oh yes? Who's the .5?
James: *winks at Carys*
Carys: AARGH! *dives behind David*
Anna: *smacks James* Don't traumatize her!
Chris: There's not much I can really say about myself - I'm not as interesting as this lot... I'm Chris Metherell, I persuaded my father to take in the, er, 'Fab Gang' as we're calling them now, and since I could read Ancient Fallamorian I helped them with their research into what had happened to them - I could read texts from that time which hadn't been translated. Even after they left, I tried to help them whenever they needed it - I took in Sean, for example, when he was on his own, and I ended up looking after his son - though I didn't realize it was his son... Other than that - I'm pretty uninteresting.

Don't worry Alex. I don't loff you. Promise. I just loathe James more.
Thanks Anna!

Chris: When they'd first really set out on their own. I know they stayed at a soldier outpost first, but that didn't work out for one reason or another...
Sean: Wait a moment - why's everyone looking at me?
Anna: A small incident involving you, some gunpowder, and your powers getting out of control.
Sean: Oh... yeah...
Chris: Anyway, they left there, and on the way Alex got sick - we know now it was because he was being kept away from death for too long, but back then they had no idea what was wrong. When he started slipping into unconsciousness they decided they had to risk getting help. They stopped at the first big house they came to - which happened to be ours. I looked up everything I could - Thomas and Carys helped, they were fast learners - and eventually we found out what was wrong, and could help him.

Neraida; *shakes her head* Young ones...
Gwion: Can I come back in now?
Andra: If you must.
How...?

Chris: Well, he needed to be near death, so.... basically, we used his hand to hold a knife to kill a chicken. Several, it turned out, were needed, but he gained consciousness eventually.
Carys: I didn't watch. I like chickens.
Chris: We then moved his bed down into the family crypt. He wasn't very happy about it, but it was the only thing we could do. He was more comfortable down there in most senses, but it was still cold. And smelt a bit bad.
Jack: He really drew the short straw when it came to powers. Carys has got it easy.

*little worried* The REALLY short straw.
OKay, thanks Chris!
Sarah.....what can I ask you....oh well, same old question to begin with. Decribe yourself.

Sarah: Um. I'm Chris's sister. I was also there when the Eight of them arrived, but I didn't see them much, I was having etiquette lessons... not by choice, you understand. Father didn't think it seemly for me to spend too much time with strange men. But I tried to help when I could. Mainly watched over Alex, I seem to recall, while the others researched. I thought they were intriguing - they were living in this great adventure, which I would never be a part of-
Jack: Hang a tick, GREAT adventure? Please say you mean sizewise.
Sarah: -and when they left, I thought that was it. But then I found Sean, alone, hungry and beaten up, so I took him home. And, well... he seemed much nicer than the man I was supposed to marry.
Sean: ..... Why's everyone staring at me again?
Anna: You?..... Nice?
Sean: I can be plenty nice.
Sarah: I think a part of it was I still identified him with that great (Jack: In size!) adventure. Which was what I wanted. But when I heard him arguing with Carys, and realized he still wanted her, I suddenly realized how foolish I was being to risk my secure life on a whim. I asked him to leave.
Jack: But you had already done the sex.
Sarah: Well... yes.
Jack: And thus a mini-Sean was created.
Carys: Will was much nicer than Sean.
Sean: I'm right here!
Sarah: I don't regret it. Will was a wonderful son, even though my husband disowned him after discovering what he was.

I've run out of questions again.......
Sarah, Meg, Chris, who's 'side' were you on?

Post by Hobbit-eyes on Apr 4, 2006 14:17:39 GMT -5
Sarah: I wasn't really ever on anyone's side. I didn't fully understand what was going on.
Meg: I was with David and his lot. I was friends with Alex, but I didn't agree with what he was doing.
Chris: I tried to help both.... but again, I was cut off from what was happening, so I didn't know just what Alex was doing.

Uh huh...
Just like to say something. Alex, you're not half as bad as I thought you were. Or at least, not compared with Disney. You're evil, FAR TOO POWERFUL, twisted, your morals are skewed, you can switch off emotions as one does a lightbulb, you fell out with your brother over something small its kinda scary, you've murdered thousands of innocent people just to find out more about magic and you're a manipulative little bastard....but at least you don't sing at me.
*shudder*
Right, everyone, could you please explain to me prescisely what acutally went on in Fallamor, and the other islands/countries I can't remember the names of? It's getting really muddled in my head, and it's probably best coming from all of you, although, if someone's talking, don't interrupt them unless they're getting something totally wrong. Factually, not morally.

Everyone: *blank stares* David: What, the history of everything? Carys: Maybe just the stuff we were involved with... David: Ah. Well, I'm thinking Thomas might be best for the background there... Jack: Go, Talking Encyclopedia, GO! Thomas: Um - OK - Well, I guess it all started when the Nirians tried to colonize Fallamor. There are three islands, as you know - Niria, Fallamor and Hespera - Carys: Look! I did a pretty drawing! Thomas: Ah, Carys has done a drawing for you. Jack: *falls about laughing* Carys: Don't mock me! *smack* Jack: But what are those pointy things? Carys: MOUNTAINS. Thomas: ANYWAY - yes - that gives you a vague idea of the three islands. Anyway, the Nirians set out to colonize Fallamor and Hespera. Fallamor was made up of tribes, mostly, and the Nirians tried to 'civilize' us, setting up a king and everything. Most people accepted it, but some tribes weren't happy - for one thing, the Nirians were mainly Monotheists- Sean: Monowhat? Thomas: Worshipped one God. And quite a few tribes in Fallamor believed in the Eight Gods. And while the Nirians didn't actively discourage their beliefs, they - well - they made it clear that they, the Nirians, thought they were wrong. And some sects of the Eight-Gods religion saw the One God the Nirians worshipped as evil, and they didn't want Fallamor ruled by his followers... Carys: It was all very complicated. Thomas: Basically - some Fallamorians weren't happy about Nirian rule. Mainly because of religious differences. Oh, and because most Monotheists believed magic was wrong, almost sinful, and the government wasn't happy about there being unregistered sorcerers running around the place, especially with all the disquiet in the country. Anna: So they ordered that all people discovered to have magic power had to be 'sequestered' in the capital for 'training and instruction in control'. Alex: Basically, they could learn magic, but only from the government and working for the government. Thomas: And Eight-Gods worshippers believed magic was everyone's right, and everyone should be allowed to use it. Anna: Thus - problem. Thomas: So some of the tribes started to rebel. Most worked seperately though, and didn't have much organization - just causing trouble where they could. James: My dad's group didn't, though. They had an aim. They were devout Eight-Gods worshippers, and were trying to find the legendary resting place of the Eight. Alex: Which we found first. David: Entirely unintentionally. Thomas: What else do you want to know?

Thanks Thomas! It's much easier to understand now! And Carys, thank you for your map.
Resting place of the Eight? Is that the cave?
