Well, that was all the companions did Ye Olde Days of Yore.
Plus, must point out the fact that Evil Alien Giles has obviously never read Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's 42, consarnit!

I want to write the Master episode. I've got a plot lined up ready, and I'm just waiting for the BBC to call.
He can still play the Master silly! Admittedly, it won't be the same, but it's not impossible for actors to be re-cast. Look at Colin Baker.

I think in the eyes of TV producers, sexiness > historical accuracy

Huh. When I am Ruler of the World, I shall ban that inbalance.
HISTORICAL INACCURACY WILL BE PUNISHABLE BY DEATH. THAT MEANS YOU, MR. WWII BEGAN AT PEARL HABOUR BUSH.

Yeah, thats the kind of historical intepretation I can't stand. The 'nothing is important unless America is there' way of looking at it. Also, I think in some cases an American atlas is marked 'America' and 'rest of the world'. (I'm not thinking of you, american wob-ites. I'm thinking of all the others whoseem to have no idea of where anywhere else is) Apologies for anti americanism. But George Bush and his type annoy me

I know what you mean. Day After Tomorrow - we're treated to lots of tragic shots of Americans dying in the snow and fighting to get to safety.
The rest of the world?
"Oh, everyone's dead in Europe."
"Darn. Let's get to New York!"
.... cheers.

Day after tomorow was on the Oscar's list of 'films dealing with current events' O.o. Anyone seen the south park episode where everyone panics about global warming? 'Our tests show global warming will strike the day after tomorow' New scientist 'We have new evidence! Global warming will strike two days before the day after tomorow!'
