If you have any ideas, post them on here and get people's opinions.
I have tons of ideas for stories which I'm unsure of how to start. I mean, just a few examples:
1. Agents of Destiny - people employed by the Fates to keep the path of destiny going the way it's supposed to
2. Afterlife - A series of stories on what I think happens after you die. Sadly, ITV has stolen the title for a new series, so must think of a new one. But it would be about people being reincarnated, becoming guardian angels and the like...
3. A rom com where it turns out one of the partners is all in the other character's head.
4. Dragon Chasers, about a couple of kids looking for their father (writing it for my little second cousin and Kevin's new baby)
5. Something about genies. I've always loved Aladdin.
So those are some ideas I have. What do you think of those?

I like the genie ideas. You could write about a genie who can't exactly get wishes right.
I have a great idea for a story....well, at least I think it's great.
---A story about one of those travelling preachers in those shows that "excorcist" people or heal their ailments and stuff. He could go around jsut trying to make money by using God as a front for it, but he actually finds someone who is possesed and the demon moves from the person to him and haunts him.
I thought it was cool, but I realized it vaguely reminded me of The Brothers Grimm.

That happens to me all the times. "WOW... THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!!!!! Wait a moment.... it's just Harry Potter meets Hellboy..... DAMN."
I started writing something about genies who work on a low budget, and they have apprentices and everything. Where it's all very corporate.

It looks very promising. I want to write a story about Alucard Products, my totally fictional company, but I can't think of enough fictional, evil characters to have as staff. And product lines to sell...at the moment we've got Bathory Virgin Cosmetics and Ethereal Nightwear.

Hey, I have a creepy company too! It's called Polymus... it has a logo and everything. Note the acronym.

Acronym of what?
Mine has a logo too. It's a crescent moon, with an upside down pentacle in the middle, and an arrow though the pantacle and the moon.

It pretty much runs everything. It has more power than the government.

Cool.
I have another idea, and if I post it here, I might actually remember it!
Okay, there's this village, with a girl and a boy, and the girl gets kidnapped by the High Authorities, 'cause she's the Lost Heir. But...she doesn't want to be Queen, so they break her and brainwash her, and when the boy comes to rescue her he has real difficulty getting her come with him. Here's a bit that's in my head.
He shook her hard. "Maddy! What have they done to you?"
She looked at him blankly. "I'm sorry sir, I don't believe we've been formally introduced. And my name isn't Maddy, it's Queen Isabella."
Hal stared at her with horror. "What have they done to you.....?"
Maddy tried to break out of his grip. "Let me go please. It's not seemly for you to hold me so, and my advisors will be concerned."

It would probably turn into an allegory for something.

Probably.... commercialism? Americanism?
